Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account or a download?
No. OrbRoyal runs in your web browser. You do not create an account, and nothing needs to be installed.
Do I control the balls?
No. Once a match starts, the balls move and fight on their own. You decide who fights, the arena, the rules and the match length.
Why do the balls move in straight lines?
The game simulates zero gravity. A ball keeps its speed and direction until it hits a wall or another ball, gets hit by a bullet or explosion, or feels the recoil of its own weapon.
How do the balls get weapons if they do not steer?
Weapons appear in the arena, often a little ahead of a ball’s path, and a ball picks one up if it drifts into it. Because nothing pulls the balls, some matches have long stretches where a ball is unarmed.
How long does a match last?
You choose. Under a minute is 20 to 55 seconds; over a minute is 65 seconds to three minutes. The game adjusts damage as it goes so the winner lands close to your choice. If time runs out, sudden death ends the match quickly.
Can I use my own pictures?
Yes. Choose Picture on a ball, upload an image or drop one onto the ball, and use the zoom slider to centre it. The picture stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
Which flags are included?
There are 87 country flags, drawn in the game in simplified form so they stay sharp at any size. Some details, such as coats of arms, are simplified or left out.
Does it work on phones?
Yes, the game is built for phones as well as computers and the setup screen adapts to small screens. For the best experience on a phone, open the game full screen. Older or slower phones may need Graphics set to Light.
Why is there no recording button on my device?
Recording needs browser features that not every browser provides. If yours does not support them, the recording options are hidden and the game still plays. Try a recent version of Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android phone.
The video has no sound. What can I do?
First make sure sound effects were switched on in the setup screen before the match started. Then try another browser. Some browsers do not include the game’s sound in recordings.
Why is my video file so large?
Busy scenes with particles, explosions and confetti are hard to compress. Choose Small file size and 720 × 1280 to make files lighter. The estimate on the setup screen is a ceiling, and real files are often smaller.
The game feels slow or choppy. What helps?
Set Graphics to Light, choose 720p, close other tabs and avoid recording the longest matches on older devices. With Graphics on Auto, the game switches to Light by itself if it detects slow frame rates.
Is there flashing or violent content?
The game has explosions, flashing effects, screen shake and cartoon-style hits with red specks. Switch on Calm effects to remove screen shake and soften flashes, and switch off Blood splatter to replace red specks with neutral sparks.
Can I report a bug or send feedback?
Yes. Use the contact form. For bugs, tell us your device and browser. On the game’s setup screen, Copy diagnostics creates a short technical report that you can paste into your message.
Who made the weapons and flags?
Everything in the game, including flags, weapons and effects, is drawn by the game itself. We are not affiliated with any country, brand or organisation, and flags are shown only as simple decorative drawings.
